Henry Kendal - Vicar
henrykendal@stbarnabas.co.uk

Henry As Vicar of St Barnabas, Henry holds the overall responsibility for the leadership of the church. Having had a background in the property business, he got involved in planting and subsequently leading a church in Harrow. From there Henry moved to St Bs over ten years ago. Somewhere along the way he was ordained in the Church of England having studied variously at London Bible College (now London School of Theology) Oak Hill College and North Thames Ministerial Training College.

Henry is a regular speaker at New Wine and in many places around the world. He has a passion for seeing the church become an effective vehicle for transformation for both the individual and society at large, as well as having a heart for world missions. Henry is married to Jane and they have three children two of whom are now grown up. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family, walking in the country and playing real tennis.

ColinAs Associate Vicar, Colin assists Henry in the overall leadership of the church. He oversees a number of specific ministries including all Prayer and Sung Worship. Colin also works closely with David Brown in the Discipleship Department.

Colin became a Christian at the age of 16, but it wasn’t until he was 25, working at Soul Survivor, that the Lord really got hold of him! He studied theology at London School of Theology and Ridley Hall Cambridge. His primary gifts are teaching and prophecy, and often finds himself in the role of a ‘Truth-Teller’. Colin’s passion is to see people become whole in Jesus.

Colin is married to Natalie and they have three young children. He has been trapped in an Atlantic cargo ship water tank, nearly eaten by a lion and has drummed at Wembley Stadium.

Liz Bewley – Youth Pastor
lizbewley@stbarnabas.co.uk

LizBefore entering into the world of young people Liz worked for Sky News, she began volunteering with the youth work at her church. It was during that time that God called her out of the Media and she took up the post of Youth Worker at her church, St Saviours in Guildford. Liz has been involved in full time youth ministry for 8 years and is passionate about seeing young people truly live life to the full by knowing Jesus and doing life with Him! She has done a lot of work with young leaders and loves to see young people empowered to impact their generation with their voice, their actions and their love. In all expressions of Youth Work, Liz aims to meet young people where they are at and lead them forward to meet with Jesus and see their lives transformed.

Liz is married to Stew who is an actor (waiting for his big break!) and they have a son, Nate, who is their main source of entertainment! Liz loves films, going out for Mojitos in London and horse riding although most of those things depend on whether there is a willing babysitter!
