The Vision

God is passionate about children and so we seek to convey his passion in all we do. Children are a gift from God and therefore we need to care for them effectively. We want to be seen as good stewards of all that God gives us. We believe that God not only wants children to know him but also to experience him. So we encourage children to explore who God is as well provide space for them to discover who they are. This is done through sharing God’s story, worship, prayer ministry and providing space for the kids to have fun and be themselves. We seek to include all children of all abilities recognising that the body of Christ has many parts. If we reach children at a young age and allow them to explore the goodness of God we believe in the wisdom of Proverbs which tells us when they are older they will not depart from that which they have learnt.

We aim to cater for the needs of all children aged 0-11 whilst also providing support for their families. We have groups that meet weekly on a Sunday where children can come together to meet with God in a safe environment. As we serve children within our church we also seek to serve those in our community and do this through weekly kids clubs, schools work, craft mornings and seasonal family events.

Our longing is for all children to reach their full potential in Christ Jesus and we see our role as empowering this younger generation to reach for God’s kingdom with their mountain moving faith. So ‘we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, his power, and the wonders he has done. He decreed statutes for Jacob and established the law in Israel, which he commanded our ancestors to teach their children, so the next generation would know them, even the children yet to be born, and they in turn would tell their children.’ Psalm 78:4-6
