Community Lunch

Every Sunday at 1.30pm
Through our Community Lunch team we seek to help meet the physical and spiritual needs of some of the most vulnerable men and women within our local community.
We have been providing lunch every Sunday for many years now, including all throughout lockdown. This has grown in popularity and we now regularly have up to 60 guests each week.  To make this possible, we have four teams of people, consisting of: cooks, servers and those who sit and chat to the guests, building relationships. As a result of this, we have been able to run our own Alpha Course and reading and writing classes.
 
We also support those who have been newly-housed by supplying them with specific household items as well as offering pastoral support, if required. 

We work in partnership with other local churches and synagogues as part of Together in Barnet, to help run a night shelter during the winter months providing our guests with an evening meal, overnight accommodation and breakfast.
