Roots: Roots is the young people's ministry at St Bs. Our vision is to create an environment in which young people can meet with God through fun activities, intimate worship and challenging, bible focused talks. We have three programs that run during the school terms:

The Sunday Session

Sunday at 11.30am - 1pm

Breakfast, games, band-led worship and an engaging talk: a great way to meet with God.

Roots - THE 5 final

The 5

Sunday at 5 - 7pm

A youth service, run by young people. Discover the impact Jesus can have on your life by learning from other people on the exact same journey. We have food, games, band led worship, socials, small group discussions, and deep a focus on learning from the bible in an accessible way: a great way to spend your Sunday evenings.

roots - BASE LOGO

Friday at 7.30 - 9.15pm

Games, socials, a tuck shop and a short life/faith talk: creating a place for young people to hang out with friends and talk about life’s big questions.
*Once a month we hold a ‘Big Event’, follow our Instagram account for more details.

Our Place

Our Place is our Special Needs Ministry at St Bs.
We are not currently running a Sunday programme but aim to accomodate and include all children in our Youth services.

OtherCompassion Compassion UK: Each week we take up an offering during both of the Sunday youth services. Every penny of this goes towards sponsoring a child in Rwanda and Ethiopia. We believe that it is important for young people to practice God’s love in a practical way. If you would like to learn more about this, please visit the Compassion UK website.
